so great! I'd love to go there- I am a history person! Love the family history too.
ReplyDeleteHi Cait! We live near DC, and take for granted all the wonderful history there because we go there for many other reasons. Thanks for the reminder to "stop and smell the roses" (or "stop and visit the monuments") next time we go. It truly is a wonderful tribute to our countries past.- Your photos came out beautifully! So glad you had a great time :-) Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI love places filled with history! Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love DC, it is such a great place for vacation! And I feel like you can't see everything in one week, it would probably take 2-3 to do all of the museums!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to visit D.C. sometime and really hope to get the chance one day!! Your pics are great and I'm like you..not into history but just being able to see things so historic..it makes you really appreciate them. :-) Glad u had a nice family trip!!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool you were able to find your grandpa's & everyone else's name! I would like to go to DC around Christmastime. Glad you all had fun and we need to hang out soon!
