Fitness Friday {week 8}

the blessed life
This week went just okay. I made good choices as far as much lunches go...but also ate a lot of fries this week.  I was really tired this week due to increasing work demands and just didn't have it in me to work-out.

How did Week 8 go?

My goal this week was to do three sets of 60 second planks each day. I did planks each day....but not 3 sets each day.  Something is better than nothing!

Was I active?

This was probably my worst week of the challenge so far for exercising.  The thing is, I wanted to...I just decided time with my baby girl was much more important when I came home from work each day! :)

Friday-
Saturday-Circuit training (10 minutes); cleaning (60 minutes); 62 push-ups; planks
Sunday-
Monday-10 minute walk pushing stroller
Tuesday-
Wednesday-67 push-ups; squats
Thursday-

Weight Loss?

Yes...down 1.2 more pounds! (down 7 lbs from starting weight)

Measurements?

Down in my thighs this week by 1/4"!

Waist: 30" (down 2" from starting measurement) -- same
Thigh: 21 1/4" (down 1 1/2" from starting measurement)

Week 9 Goal?

No starches (white potatoes and white bread mainly).

(See my list of weekly goals here.)

  3. I definitely think time with your sweet Adeline trumps working out :) What better excuse?!
You are doing awesome-your goal was a pound a week, right? And 8 weeks in you've lost 7 pounds! That is awesome! I can't seem to lose more than 1/2 pound a week. But something is better than nothing!
Aren't you just loving the push up challenge?! My left tricep by my elbow has been hurting the day in between push ups, but just seeing how many push ups I'm doing gets me so excited!!

  4. Cait you are doing such an awesome job! I don't blame you one bit for choosing time with your sweet girl over working out. I would be the exact same way. You did great fitting a few workouts in and choosing healthy lunches and it paid off with a big loss! yay!
